Water Pressure Booster

A water pressure booster pump can be utilized in any home that has less than desirable water pressure, so long as the water main coming into your home is 3/4” or larger in diameter. The idea of these systems is fairly simple. A one-way pump increases the force of the water coming into your home. In other words, it increases the static pressure of that water throughout all the pipes of your home. We can recommend and install a wide variety of water pressure boosters.

Expansion Tank

In addition to the pump itself, a water pressure booster system also contains a special expansion tank. This tank fulfills two purposes. First, it acts as a storage reservoir. That means you will not experience the problem of your pressure dropping as the water standing in the pipes is used up. Second, it acts to maintain idea pressure across the system.

To do this, the tank is equipped with a special lining-a sort of rubber bladder. Any empty room in this bladder is kept inflated using an attached air compressor. This helps to ensure that the pressure in your home’s water system remains stable, no matter how much water happens to be in the expansion tank at any particular time.
